Will C. Wood High School honored its senior wrestlers on Wednesday night. And while Mac Linsley's 15-second pin at 142 pounds wasn't the norm, it was indicative of a Wildcat team that posted both varsity and junior varsity victories over visiting Fairfield in a little more than one hour.

The change in plans wasn't so bad after all.

Will C. Wood High School's wrestling team, which was originally scheduled to compete at the ultra-competitive 5-Counties Invitational in Southern California, stuck closer to home and won the Lincoln of Stockton tournament on Saturday.
